Terms
Terms of Service
These terms are written in plain language so you know what to expect when you use Rebugger.
Use of the service
You can trace repos, sync timelines, and run the desktop agent for your own work or your team’s work.
Don’t misuse the service (no malware, no scraping other users, no attempts to break security).
Privacy
We keep your data private and encrypted in transit. Sessions stay tied to your account, not the device.
The desktop agent reuses your login. Configs live locally unless you clear them.
Only the folders you select are synced; nothing else is scanned or shipped.
Data
We process repo metadata and commit history to build timelines. We keep session info so you stay logged in.
If you delete a timeline or ask us to remove data, we’ll clear it from active systems except where the law requires retention.
We keep it private: sessions are tied to your account, not the device; the desktop agent reuses your login without exposing secrets; all sync happens over encrypted channels; configs stay local unless you delete or move them.
Desktop agent
The agent uses your existing session to sync local folders. Keep your device secure and log out if you share it.
We don’t sell or repackage your data. The agent only ships changes you authorize.
Availability
We aim for stable service but outages can happen. Keep local backups of anything critical.
Liability
Rebugger is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for indirect or incidental damages.
If you’re in a jurisdiction that limits these disclaimers, they apply to the fullest extent allowed.
Updates
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we’ll let you know. Continued use means you accept them.
